Jonathan Palmer Lakeland

British-American musician Jonathan Palmer Lakeland is a conductor, vocal coach, and collaborative pianist whose work has been described as “pointed and dramatic” (Robert Hugill, PlanetHugill), and as “wordless eloquence…he supported the singers with both brio and sensitivity, clearly relishing his involvement in the dramatic narrative” (Margaret Tattersall, The Herald, Stratford-upon-Avon). Jonathan works as a conductor and coach for opera companies in Europe and North America. He also holds a position as Associate Director and vocal coach at the Georg Solti Accademia in Italy. As a collaborative pianist, he has been heard on many of the world’s great stages from London’s Wigmore Hall to Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, with singers including Dame Felicity Lott, Claire Barnett-Jones, Elin Manahan Thomas, and many more.

Lakeland can be heard playing on The Same Stream's Songs of the Questioner and Serenity, and his musical involvement with the group continues as Producer of the latest release, A Time for Healing.

Gregory Stout

Gregory is the group's resident collaborative pianist. He has worked with conductor James Jordan since 2017. He is active as a solo vocal and choral accompanist. He serves as accompanist to The Same Stream Choir, Westminster Schola Cantorum, Westminster Williamson Voices, Westminster Symphonic Choir, and The Westminster Choir. He also serves as accompanist to the choral ensembles of Ramapo College of New Jersey. Mr. Stout can be heard on the Westminster Williamson Voices recording A Scattered Light in Winter (GIA ChoralWorks-Spiritum).
