Thomas LaVoy

Thomas LaVoy (b. 1990) is an award-winning composer of contemporary art music and graduate of Westminster Choir College. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Music Composition degree from the University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom, where he studies with Paul Mealor and Philip Cooke. LaVoy's choral works have achieved widespread popularity and have been performed in Taiwan, Australia, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the United States. His music has been commissioned and performed by many of the world's leading choral ensembles including the Westminster Williamson Voices, the BBC Singers, the New York Virtuoso Singers, and the Westminster Choir.
